Description
The panoramic tour will start with highlights including the Poliforum Cultural Siqueiros, which houses the largest mural in the world entitled “The March of Humanity” by David Alfaro Siqueiros; the Plaza de Toros México, the largest in the world with a capacity for 50,000 people; the Teatro de los Insurgentes, famous for the gigantic mural by Diego Rivera that adorns the façade and where Cantinflas appears; the Olympic Stadium; the Ciudad Universitaria, which holds the title of World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its architecture and murals made by the greatest Mexican muralists. We will also explore the lava gardens of Pedregal de San Ángel in a panoramic view.
Continuing our journey, we will visit Xochimilco, another UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will enjoy a ride on an Aztec boat, called “Trajinera” here. We will also explore the charming Coyoacán neighborhood with its 16th-century mansions and the impressive San Juan Bautista Church and its vault with spectacular paintings by Juan Fabregat made in 1944. We will also take a panoramic tour of the mansions of the Spanish conquistadors and Frida Kahlo's blue house.
