Description
In this three hour tour, you will discover UNAM's campus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 1950s, a time of close proximity between the US and Mexico, the site is famous for its buildings, its rocky landscape and its murals by some of the county's greatest artists. These include works by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Juan O'Gorman. During the tour, we will talk about the history of this amazing site, while also engaging with the particularities of the rocky, volcanic landscape out of which it rises.
