Set off from Rio Lagartos, a small fishing village, and head to the water canals surrounded by mangroves. Keep an eye out for the variety of bird species that call the area home. Continue to Las Coloradas, where you can see the salt deposits. Admire the different bodies of water involved in this process, some of which are an eye-catching pink.
