If you’ve ever wanted to breathe underwater, but aren’t ready for a full certification course, the Discover Scuba Diving experience is perfect for you. It’s a simple and quick introduction to scuba diving, offered either in an open cenote or from a dive boat. This isn’t a certification, but rather a first dive experience or baptism into scuba diving. You can even earn credit towards your PADI Open Water Diver Course. To join our PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you need to be at least 10 years old, and no prior diving experience is required. It includes three parts: a brief theory session, practice in confined water, and 1 or 2 shallow open water dives. Includes everything! What you're investing in is an exciting introduction to the underwater world. With expert guidance, high-quality equipment, and a focus on your safety, we ensure you have a fun, comfortable, and unforgettable first dive experience!

Important Information

  • Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving. Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form (contact us for medical form) to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. If you answered NO to all 10 questions above, a medical evaluation is not required. Otherwise, articipation in a diving course requires your physician’s approval.
