Description

Explore the city of Chichén Itzá, whose name means 'the city on the edge of the well of the Itzáes', which was once the most important political, religious and cultural center of the Mayan empire and has been a World Heritage Site since 1998. You will observe important buildings such as: El Castillo, the Ball Game court, the Observatory, among others. The experience does not end there! You will visit Tsukan, a sanctuary of Life where you will be able to: -Learn about the sanctuary's historical and natural points of relevance. -Interact with local people and make your own handmade tortilla in an authentic Mayan House with its main elements. -Make your own recado with ingredients from traditional Yucatecan cuisine. -Learn the technique of planting corn. -Swim in a subway Cenote with crystalline waters and impressive rock formations.
