Description

First you will tour the historic center of Mérida, visiting the cathedral (the oldest in the Americas), the Casa del Conquistador Montejo, the Municipal Palace and the portrait hall of the Government Palace. Afterwards you will walk along Calle 60, visiting the Hidalgo and Santa Lucia parks, the Peón Contreras theater, and the Santa and the gastronomic corridor. From there we will explore Paseo de Montejo, admiring its architecture and history, in old buildings and mansions such as the Cámara houses, the Cantón Palace (Museum of Anthropology and History), the Quinta Montes Molina, the Minarete and many other buildings along the boulevard. Finally, you will experience the emblem of our country's history, the iconic Monumento a la Patria (Monument to the Homeland) at the end of Paseo de Montejo.
