This important building was built on the land of the country estate known as 'Labor de Trías', whose owner was Don Ángel Trías, an important character in the history of Chihuahua and the Mexican Republic. The property belonged to Don Luis Terrazas, who bought it from Trías's daughters and gave it to his wife Doña Carolina.
