Description

Embark on a 5-day adventure to explore the Sumidero Canyon, the Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center, and the Yaxchilan Archaeological Zone. Enjoy a boat ride on the Grijalva River, a walk in the jungle, and a descent of waterfalls on the Lacanja River. Day 1: Welcome to the 'Ángel Albino Corzo' Airport. Transfer to the Malecon de Cahuare and embark on a 2-hour boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon. See fauna such as crocodiles, herons, cormorants, and spider monkeys. Transfer to the Magic Town of San Cristóbal de las Casas. Take a city tour and continue to Comitán Pueblo Colonial. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time. Day 2: Transfer to the Chiflón Waterfalls and admire 3 impressive waterfalls, including the 'Velo de Novia' Waterfall. Transfer to the Lagos de Montebello National Park and explore 6 lakes. Take a raft ride to the Orchid Island in Lake Pojoj. Cross the Guatemalan side to visit artisan shops. Continue to the Las Guacamayas Ecotourism Center. Check in to your cabin and enjoy a free night. Day 3: Visit the Lacandona Jungle by private boat. Explore the Lacantún Rivers and Tzendales River. Continue to Frontera Corozal and take a private boat on the Usumacinta River to the Yaxchilán Archaeological Zone. Take a guided tour and see fauna in a jungle environment. Return to Frontera Corozal and transfer to Lacanja. Check in to your cabin. Day 4: Depart from the camp and transfer to the Bonampak Archaeological Zone. Visit the site famous for having the best paintings of the Mayans. Choose between rafting waterfalls or a walk in the jungle to visit the Moctuni waterfall. Return and transfer to Palenque. Check in to your hotel. Day 5: Visit the archaeological Jewel of Chiapas, Palenque. Continue to the impressive Misol Ha Waterfall. Visit the Town of Palenque and transfer to Villa Hermosa Airport, Tabasco.
