Description
We will meet at the cafeteria El Moro, where we will taste the famous churros and chocolate of Coyoacán. There we will read Frida's first letters, written years before she met Diego Rivera, while analyzing the portraits taken between 1925 and 1930 (photos accessible on computer/phone).
We will then walk to the church, the main plaza, and the building where the painters were once married. There we will read the letters and confessions written up to 1948, a few years after their death. These will undoubtedly be the most interesting, because of the reflections on some of his paintings.
Finally, we will walk through the market, where the author admired the beauty and diversity of Mexican gastronomy, as well as the facade of the Casa Azul, where she wrote her last poems.
Important information: on this tour we will not enter the Frida Khalo Museum, due to the complexity of finding tickets that coincide with our schedules (especially without prior notice). Therefore, we encourage those interested to buy them from 12:00 pm (ending time of the tour) onwards, so you can discover it on your own.
