- We recommend booking at least the 6 hour fishing trip. It takes time to find bait and to get offshore. it takes about 45 min to an hour travel time each way so a 4 hour fishing trip would only give you about 2 hours of fishing time. We always catch fish but its never guaranteed, so remember, the more time, the better chance you'll have at catching that trophy fish or just some fish for lunch or dinner.
